Privacy Policy

This page presents a privacy policy governing the collection, use, storage and disclosure of personal information by the associated automotive businesses. It explains the types of information that may be collected, including contact details, identity information, vehicle-related records, website activity, communications and, where relevant, employment information.

The policy outlines how information may be gathered directly from individuals, manufacturers, suppliers, related entities, public records and digital interactions. It also describes the use of cookies and similar technologies to understand website activity, improve functionality, analyse performance and support online forms and enquiries.

Personal information may be used for automotive sales and services, vehicle registrations, test-drive administration, warranty and recall management, customer communications, security, legal compliance and other operational purposes. The policy also describes circumstances in which information may be shared with service providers, manufacturers, financiers, insurers, registries, professional advisers, regulators and related organisations.

Information may be stored or disclosed outside Australia, with the policy identifying overseas hosting and related entities or contractors in several countries. It also sets out measures intended to support data accuracy and security, provisions concerning sensitive and de-identified information, and limited use of automated decision-making systems.

Individuals can request access to their personal information, seek corrections, opt out of direct marketing and make privacy complaints. The policy states that requests and complaints are handled by a designated Privacy Officer, with escalation available to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
