Roadside Assistance
Vehicle Overview
Mazda Premium Roadside Assistance is a vehicle support service designed to help when an unexpected breakdown, accident or minor roadside problem interrupts a journey. The program applies to new Mazda vehicles purchased on or after 1 April 2019, subject to its terms and conditions.
The assistance covers a broad range of common incidents. A flat battery can be tested and jump-started, with replacement coordination available where necessary. If a vehicle runs out of fuel, enough emergency fuel is supplied to allow travel to the nearest petrol station. Flat or damaged tyres can be changed using the vehicle's spare, while transport to a repair facility may be arranged when a roadside replacement is not possible.
Locked or lost keys are also covered. Assistance may involve attempting to retrieve the keys, arranging a replacement or transporting the vehicle to an authorised repairer. These services address several of the small but disruptive problems that can leave a vehicle immobile, whether the incident occurs in an urban area or away from major centres.
Where a breakdown requires further attention, towing or transportation can be arranged to the nearest Mazda dealership or another designated location within 50 kilometres. Following an accident, the service can coordinate towing, provide advice and organise alternative transport when required. A taxi benefit of up to $110 is available where a broken-down vehicle must be transported to the nearest authorised repairer.
The coverage also extends to selected situations beyond mechanical failure. A bogged vehicle may be recovered when conditions are safe, although specialist equipment can result in additional costs. An urgent message relay service can help communicate with family, friends or associates after a breakdown or accident, providing practical support while arrangements are made.
