2026 BMW X3 M50 xDrive Automatic

The 2026 BMW X3 M50 xDrive brings a distinctly performance-focused character to BMW’s mid-sized SUV range while retaining the everyday practicality expected of the X3. As a new vehicle with zero kilometres, it combines a contemporary cabin, a five-seat layout and all-wheel drive with the heightened specification associated with the M50 badge.

Its petrol engine produces 280 kW (381 hp) and 540Nm, giving the X3 M50 a substantial reserve of power for open-road driving and confident acceleration. The automatic transmission includes gearshift paddles, while variable sport steering and Adaptive M Suspension are intended to give the vehicle a more responsive, controlled feel when the road becomes demanding. All-wheel drive adds traction across changing surfaces and complements the vehicle’s SUV format.

The exterior is finished in Turquoise Dark and sits on 21-inch M light-alloy wheels in Star-spoke style 1037 M Bicolour. BMW’s Iconic Glow Exterior Package, M High-Gloss Shadow Line detailing and Adaptive LED headlights contribute to a sharper visual identity, while the panoramic glass roof gives the cabin a lighter, more open atmosphere. Sun protection glazing adds privacy and helps moderate the interior environment.

Inside, the black M Alcantara and Veganza combination is paired with sports seats for the driver and front passenger. Electric seat adjustment with memory, front lumbar support, heated front and rear seats, and active front-seat ventilation provide a broad range of adjustment and comfort for longer journeys. A heated M leather steering wheel, ambient lighting and an anthracite M headliner add further detail without compromising the practical nature of the cabin.
