Vehicle Overview

The 2021 Hyundai Kona OS.V4 is a compact SUV with the everyday practicality of a five-door body, a five-seat cabin and front-wheel-drive traction. Its relatively compact footprint suits urban driving, while the raised SUV seating position and flexible rear compartment give it useful versatility for commuting, shopping and weekend travel. With 81,471km recorded, this example is presented as a used petrol model with an automatic transmission and a 2.0-litre engine.

The Kona’s strengths are centred on convenient, low-effort daily use. Automatic transmission operation keeps stop-start traffic straightforward, while the selectable driving modes allow the driver to tailor the vehicle’s response to changing conditions. Electric power steering, cruise control and a multifunction steering wheel further support relaxed longer-distance driving, and the height-adjustable front seats help occupants find a comfortable position.

Practical details have been considered throughout the cabin. The rear seats split-fold and fold flat, creating flexibility when carrying larger items, while the cargo area includes tie-down points, an organiser and a cargo net. Roof rails add another option for transporting bulky equipment, and a space-saver spare wheel is provided for emergencies. Air conditioning with a pollen filter, rear air conditioning, front and rear power windows, bottle holders and centre-console storage contribute to the Kona’s useful day-to-day functionality.

Technology is another clear appeal. Bluetooth connectivity, USB auxiliary input, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay provide several ways to access calls, audio and compatible smartphone functions. A colour multifunction control screen presents key information, while wireless charging is available for compatible devices. The reversing camera and graphical parking-assist display help improve visibility when manoeuvring in confined spaces.

Safety equipment includes a five-star ANCAP safety rating, lane departure warning and active lane-keeping assistance. Forward collision warning and forward collision mitigation, including pedestrian avoidance with braking, add further driver-assistance capability. Distance-control cruise control, driver-attention detection, electronic stability control, traction control, hill-holder assistance and multiple airbags form part of the broader safety package. Automatic headlights, LED daytime running lamps and tyre-pressure monitoring add useful support during everyday driving.
