Vehicle Overview

The 2020 Kia Sorento Sport+ MQ4 is a large seven-seat SUV with the space and versatility to handle everyday family duties, longer trips and the practical demands of carrying several passengers. Its diesel powertrain is paired with a dual-clutch automatic transmission and on-demand four-wheel drive, giving this Sorento a broad operating range without sacrificing the convenience expected from a modern family vehicle.

A seven-seat layout gives the cabin genuine flexibility. The second row can slide, recline and fold, while the split-fold third row can be configured when occasional extra passenger capacity is needed or folded away to prioritise luggage space. Rear air conditioning, multiple storage areas, cup holders across the cabin and a cargo cover add useful day-to-day functionality.

The Sport+ specification brings a well-equipped interior focused on comfort and connectivity. Partial leather seating, heated front seats, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support and a heated steering wheel make the cabin more accommodating in changing conditions. Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth and digital radio provide straightforward access to personal media and navigation, with satellite navigation also included.

Its safety and driver-assistance equipment is particularly comprehensive for a vehicle of this age. A reversing camera works with front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic warning and forward collision mitigation to improve awareness around the vehicle. Lane departure warning, active lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control and driver-attention monitoring further support the driver on longer journeys. The Sorento is also listed with a five-star ANCAP safety rating.

Outside, LED lighting, roof rails, privacy glass and 19-inch alloy wheels give the Sorento a purposeful appearance while supporting its practical role. A hands-free power tailgate, keyless proximity entry and push-button start make loading and access easier, particularly when carrying bags or equipment. Trailer sway control and hill-descent assistance complement the all-wheel-drive system for added confidence when conditions become more demanding.

With 57,300 kilometres recorded, a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine, seven seats and 4X4 on-demand capability, this Sorento presents a balanced combination of passenger capacity, comfort, technology and utility. It is a substantial SUV whose equipment is directed towards making regular transport and longer-distance travel more convenient, while its flexible seating and practical load area help it adapt as requirements change.
