The BYD SEALION 7 Performance is an all-electric SUV configured for buyers who want strong performance without giving up the practicality of a higher-riding family vehicle. Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system gives the Performance grade a more dynamic specification than the rear-wheel-drive alternative, while the 82.56 kWh BYD Blade Battery provides an official driving-range figure of up to 456km under WLTP testing, or 542km on the NEDC cycle.

With maximum outputs of 390kW and 690Nm, this version is the performance-focused member of the SEALION 7 range. The quoted 0-100km/h acceleration time is 4.5 seconds, making the vehicle notably quick for an SUV of this type. That power is matched with the reassurance of all-wheel drive, which can help distribute traction across both axles in changing conditions.
