2024 BMW iX2 eDrive20 Automatic

The 2024 BMW iX2 eDrive20 presents a distinctive electric interpretation of BMW’s compact vehicle range, combining silent electric propulsion with a specification designed to make daily driving more comfortable and connected. With zero kilometres shown, this new example is finished in Skyscraper Grey metallic with a black interior and uses a single electric drive system producing 150 kW (204 hp). Front-wheel drive and an automatic transmission provide a straightforward driving layout suited to urban use and longer trips alike.

Its electric powertrain is supported by practical charging equipment, including a Mode 3 cable for public charging and a Mode 2 Flexible Charger for convenient connection to compatible domestic power supplies. AC Charging Professional supports charging at up to 22 kW where the relevant installation and supply are available, giving owners flexibility in how they replenish the battery.

The standard equipment focuses on everyday reassurance as well as convenience. Tyre Pressure Monitor and a tyre repair kit provide useful roadside support, while intelligent emergency calling, TeleServices and a personal eSIM help maintain communication between the vehicle and connected services. BMW IconicSounds Electric and acoustic pedestrian protection add considered sound design to the otherwise quiet electric driving experience.

This vehicle is further specified with the M Sport package, which brings sport seats, an M leather steering wheel, M Sport exterior and interior parts, an anthracite headliner, M High-Gloss Shadow Line detailing and 19-inch M light-alloy wheels in a bi-colour double-spoke design. Adaptive M Suspension is also included, offering additional control over the vehicle’s ride and handling characteristics.

The Equipment Package Professional adds a broad suite of technology and convenience features. BMW Head-Up Display can place key driving information within the driver’s field of view, while BMW Live Cockpit Professional provides the central interface for vehicle information and connected functions. Parking Assistant Plus is designed to reduce the effort involved in manoeuvring, complemented by Comfort Access, wireless charging storage, adaptive LED headlights and high-beam assistance. Acoustic glazing and automatic anti-dazzle functions for the interior and exterior mirrors contribute to a more relaxed cabin environment.

An Enhancement Package expands the interior and driver-assistance specification with a harman/kardon HiFi loudspeaker system, electrically adjustable memory seats, heated front seats, active seats, steering-wheel heating and Driving Assistant Professional. A panoramic glass roof adds a greater sense of openness to the cabin while retaining the clean, contemporary character of the iX2 interior.
