Omoda Jaecoo continues strong NEV sales in July

Omoda Jaecoo reported a strong July 2026 result in Australia, with electrified vehicles accounting for 74% of the brand's 2,135 registrations during the month. The figures indicate that battery-electric and hybrid models are becoming a central part of the brand's local sales mix.

The Jaecoo J5 EV was the leading contributor, recording 1,262 sales in July. More than 7,700 J5 vehicles had been delivered since its introduction, including 7,192 electric versions. The model was also identified as Australia's best-selling small electric SUV in May and ranked seventh among all vehicles for that month.

Across its Super Hybrid and electric ranges, the brand reported more than 9,000 Australian deliveries during 2026, representing 82.5% of its total sales of 10,943. The local range is set to expand with the J5 SHS-H and the seven-seat J8 SHS-P, both described as entering Australian showrooms.
