The 2026 Mitsubishi Triton Raider is a new double-cab utility designed to combine everyday usability with a stronger focus on off-road capability. Its 2.4-litre bi-turbo diesel engine produces 150 kW and 470 Nm, while the six-speed sports automatic transmission provides a familiar, convenient driving experience for both urban travel and longer-distance work.

Four-wheel drive is supported by Mitsubishi's Super Select II system, which gives the Triton a broader range of traction settings than a conventional part-time arrangement. Off-road mode, active traction control, active yaw control, hill descent control and a rear differential lock are included, helping the vehicle manage changing surfaces with greater control. The upgraded suspension and underbody protection further reinforce its utility-focused character.

The Raider's exterior equipment gives it a distinctive, functional presentation. It has 18-inch alloy wheels, extended wheel-arch flares, black exterior accents, LED lighting, side steps, mud flaps, roof rails and a sports bar. A cargo liner and tie-down hooks add practical support for carrying equipment, while the assisted tailgate and rear step bumper make access to the load area easier.

Inside, the double cab seats five and includes leather-appointed seats, heated front seats, a powered driver's seat with lumbar support and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Two-zone climate control, a roof-mounted air circulator and rear-seat cup holders help make the cabin more versatile when all seats are occupied. Keyless entry, smart key operation and one-touch starting add convenience to regular use.

Technology is centred on a nine-inch touchscreen multimedia system with satellite navigation, smartphone connectivity, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth and a six-speaker sound system. Wireless phone charging and extra USB connectivity help keep devices ready for use, while the seven-inch multi-information display presents key vehicle information ahead of the driver.
