The 2026 Mitsubishi Triton Raider is a new double-cab utility with the equipment and hardware to bridge everyday practicality and off-road capability. Its 2.4-litre diesel engine is paired with a six-speed sports automatic transmission and produces 150 kW and 470 Nm, giving the vehicle a substantial working brief while retaining the ease of automatic driving.

Four-wheel drive is delivered through Mitsubishi's Super Select II system, supported by off-road mode, active traction control, active yaw control, hill descent control and a rear differential lock. Together with upgraded suspension, underbody protection, mud flaps and extended wheel-arch flares, these features are aimed at maintaining control and durability when conditions become less predictable. The vehicle is also specified with a 3,500 kg towing capacity, making it suited to substantial towing duties when correctly configured.

The Raider's exterior treatment combines 18-inch alloy wheels, black exterior accents, LED lighting, a special front grille, side steps and a sports bar. A branded bash plate and cargo liner add a practical layer to the tray area, while tie-down hooks help with securing loads. Roof rails and an assisted tailgate further broaden its carrying flexibility.

Inside, leather-appointed seats, heated front seats, a powered driver's seat and driver's lumbar adjustment provide a more supportive environment for longer drives. Dual-zone climate control, a roof-mounted air circulator and a rear centre armrest with cup holders add comfort for all five occupants. The cabin also includes a 9.0-inch touchscreen multimedia system with satellite navigation, smartphone connectivity through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging and a six-speaker sound system.

Safety and driver assistance coverage is extensive, including adaptive cruise control, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision mitigation, autonomous emergency braking with rear assistance, lane departure warning and prevention, emergency lane assist, driver monitoring, traffic sign recognition and front parking distance control.
