Vehicle Overview

2025 Isuzu N Series NLR 45-150 DT D34.

The 2025 Isuzu NLR 45-150 DT D34 Traypack is a new light-duty truck configured around a practical aluminium tray and a compact 4x2 chassis. With a 4,500 kg GVM and 8,000 kg GCM, it is designed to combine useful payload capacity with the manoeuvrability expected from a smaller rigid truck. The 200 km odometer reading reflects its new-vehicle status.

Power comes from Isuzu's 4JZ1-TCS four-cylinder turbo-diesel, producing 150 HP, or 110 kW at 2,800 rpm, with 375 Nm of torque available from 1,280 to 2,800 rpm. That broad torque band is well matched to stop-start delivery and general load-carrying work. The nine-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission provides automated gear selection while retaining the efficiency and control associated with a manual-based drivetrain.

The defining feature is the ready-to-work aluminium tray. Its external dimensions are 4,708 mm long by 2,091 mm wide, while the internal load area measures 4,500 mm by 1,958 mm. The heavy-duty aluminium deck is rated to five tonnes, and removable dropsides and a tailgate provide access from the sides and rear when loading or unloading. Cargo retention is supported by external ratchet rails rated to 600 kg each, a corner stirrup with moulded tread plate, a tube headboard with grab handles and a cargo seal for improved load containment.

Several details have been chosen to make regular loading tasks more straightforward. The fold-down ear system, metal-encapsulated glass-fibre-reinforced nylon catches and quick-lock hinge system are intended to simplify access to the tray, while the removable side and rear panels allow the body to be adapted to different types of freight. A powder-coated window protector and tail-light protector add useful protection around vulnerable areas of the body.

The chassis specification includes a 2,600 kg front axle capacity and a 5,000 kg rear axle capacity. It carries a 100-litre fuel tank and a 14-litre steel AdBlue tank, with Michelin 205/75R16C 113/111R tyres fitted at both axles. Mechanical suspension is specified, and the driver's seat incorporates weight adjustment up to 130 kg.

Inside the cab, automatic climate control supports a more consistent working environment. A 10.1-inch high-definition touchscreen provides truck-tailored GPS navigation with live traffic and map-content updates, while Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Wi-Fi connectivity extend smartphone and data usability. Bi-LED headlamps with LED daytime running lamps, LED tail lamps and a reverse alarm improve visibility and awareness around the truck.
