The 2025 Aion V Luxury is a fully electric SUV that combines practical family-car proportions with an unusually generous focus on cabin comfort. Its 510km WLTP range gives the vehicle useful touring potential, while the front-mounted electric motor and automatic reduction-gear transmission provide the straightforward, quiet driving experience associated with an EV. Front-wheel drive keeps the layout simple and makes the Aion V well suited to everyday road use.

Much of the Aion V's appeal lies inside. The Luxury grade includes massaging front seats with heating and ventilation, giving both occupants a more comfortable environment on longer journeys. Rear passengers are also catered for with heated, reclining seats and integrated tray tables. The front seats can recline fully flat, adding flexibility when the vehicle is stationary, while the built-in 6.6-litre refrigerator can cool or heat contents, making it a distinctive feature for travel and outdoor use.

A large 14.6-inch touchscreen forms the centre of the vehicle's technology suite, with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a nine-speaker stereo supporting connected entertainment. The digital instrument display, satellite navigation capability and smartphone app integration keep key information and vehicle functions readily accessible. A panoramic electric sunroof with powered sunshade brings additional light into the cabin, while partial leather seating and configurable ambient lighting add a more considered feel to the interior.

The electric powertrain uses a 75.3kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. DC fast-charging support of up to 180kW is specified, with a stated 30 to 80 per cent charging time of approximately 16 to 24 minutes under suitable conditions. Vehicle-to-load capability allows the battery to supply power to compatible external equipment, extending the vehicle's usefulness beyond transport.

Safety equipment is comprehensive, including a five-star ANCAP rating, seven airbags, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning and active lane-keeping assistance. Forward, rear and side cameras combine with front and rear parking sensors to improve visibility when manoeuvring. Emergency braking and collision-warning systems provide further assistance in busy traffic and around vulnerable road users.
