Vehicle Overview

This 2016 Hyundai Tucson Active X is a practical mid-size SUV with a comfortable cabin, elevated driving position and the everyday flexibility expected of a five-seat family vehicle. Finished in grey, it combines a straightforward front-wheel-drive layout with a 2.0-litre petrol engine and automatic transmission, making it suited to regular urban and highway use.

The Tucson's appeal lies in its balanced approach to comfort and usability. Its SUV body provides a clear view over surrounding traffic, while the five-door layout makes access to both seating rows and the cargo area straightforward. With seating for five and flexible rear cargo space, it offers useful room for daily errands, passengers and weekend equipment without the bulk of a larger SUV.

Inside, the black leather-appointed interior gives the cabin a more polished feel, while heated front seats add comfort in cooler conditions. Dual-zone climate control allows the front occupants to set their preferred temperature independently. Smart key entry and push-button start also make routine journeys more convenient, particularly when carrying bags or other items.

Technology is well covered for a vehicle of this age. The touchscreen infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, alongside Bluetooth connectivity and voice control. These features provide familiar ways to access navigation, music and phone functions. A reverse camera works with rear parking sensors to make low-speed manoeuvring easier, especially in tighter parking spaces.

On the outside, the grey finish is complemented by 17-inch alloy wheels and LED daytime running lights. The overall design is restrained and contemporary, with the raised stance and clean exterior lines giving it a confident road presence without compromising its practical character.

Safety equipment includes electronic stability control, traction control, hill-start assist and a comprehensive airbag system. The combination of camera and sensor-based parking assistance, good visibility and driver-support systems adds reassurance during everyday driving.
