BYD SEAL Performance

The BYD SEAL Performance is a fully electric sedan configured for buyers who want strong dual-motor traction without giving up the refinement and everyday usability expected of a modern passenger car. Its all-wheel-drive system and 390kW maximum power output give this version a distinctly performance-oriented character, while the 82.56kWh BYD Blade Battery provides an advertised driving range of up to 580km under the NEDC test cycle, or 520km under WLTP.

Acceleration is a central part of the Performance specification, with a quoted 0-100km/h time of 3.8 seconds. That output is supported by a maximum torque figure of 670Nm and an Intelligence Torque Adaption Control system intended to help manage the response of the dual-motor drivetrain. Frequency Selective Dampening is also specified, adding a chassis technology element aimed at balancing the car's sporting focus with controlled ride behaviour.

Charging flexibility is built into the electric powertrain. The SEAL Performance supports AC charging at up to 7kW and DC charging at up to 150kW, giving owners options for overnight charging at home as well as faster replenishment when using compatible public charging infrastructure. Actual charging times will depend on the power source, battery state and other conditions.

This configuration is finished in Aurora White with a Thaumas Black interior. The cabin specification includes genuine leather-wrapped steering wheel and seats, together with a head-up display that places selected driving information within the driver's forward view. These details give the interior a more premium feel while keeping key information readily accessible.

Exterior presentation is shaped by 19-inch alloy wheels with red calipers, which complement the Performance model's more focused mechanical specification. The combination of a low-slung sedan body, all-wheel drive and substantial electric torque makes this version distinct from the rear-wheel-drive SEAL Premium, while retaining the same broad emphasis on quiet electric travel and long-distance capability.
