The BYD DOLPHIN Premium is a compact electric SUV configured with a 60.48 kWh BYD Blade Battery and a 150 kW electric motor driving the front wheels. Its combination of compact dimensions, zero-tailpipe-emission propulsion and a claimed 427 km WLTP range gives it a practical focus for everyday electric motoring, while the quoted maximum NEDC range extends to 490 km under that less demanding testing standard.

Charging flexibility is central to the DOLPHIN’s usability. The Premium specification supports DC charging at up to 80 kW, making it better suited to longer journeys and quicker top-ups than a vehicle restricted to slower charging. At home, an optional 7 kW AC charger is available, although installation is not included. The charging setup is therefore adaptable to both regular overnight charging and occasional public-charging stops.

This configuration is finished in Ski White with 17-inch alloy wheels and a Grey + Black interior. The larger alloy wheels give the Premium a more distinctive visual identity, while the neutral interior treatment keeps the cabin visually restrained. Multi-link rear suspension is also listed for this grade, adding a more sophisticated mechanical specification than the entry version.
