Vehicle Overview

This 2019 Toyota Corolla Ascent Sport is a five-door hatchback with the compact dimensions and practical layout that have made the Corolla a familiar choice for everyday driving. Finished in white with a black interior, it combines a useful passenger cabin with a hatchback rear opening that makes loading shopping, luggage and other regular cargo straightforward.

Power comes from a 2.0-litre petrol engine matched with an automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The combination is well suited to ordinary urban and suburban travel, while the listed combined fuel consumption of 6 L/100km gives the vehicle a clear efficiency focus. With 44,484km displayed, this example has covered a moderate distance for its age, although the odometer reading is recorded at the time of listing and may change while the vehicle remains in use.

The Ascent Sport grade adds a more distinctive presentation through its 16-inch alloy wheels, rear roof spoiler, LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps and LED tail lamps. Folding and heated power mirrors add everyday convenience, while the body-colour exterior details keep the overall design cohesive. The hatchback format remains easy to place on the road and practical in tighter parking environments without giving up the flexibility of a five-seat cabin.

Inside, the equipment list is centred on straightforward usability. The cloth-trimmed cabin includes front and rear power windows, air conditioning, a height-adjustable driver's seat and a steering column adjustable for tilt and reach. A colour multi-function display, trip computer, voice recognition, Bluetooth connectivity, auxiliary and USB audio inputs, and a six-speaker stereo provide several ways to manage information and entertainment. Smart-device app display and control is also listed, supporting integration with compatible devices.

Safety equipment is a significant part of the Corolla's specification. The vehicle is listed with a five-star ANCAP safety rating, along with ABS, brake assist, electronic brake-force distribution, electronic stability control, traction control and hill-holder assistance. Forward collision warning, forward collision mitigation, pedestrian avoidance with braking, lane departure warning, active lane-keeping assistance, distance-controlled cruise control, automatic high-beam dipping and road-sign recognition are included in the recorded equipment list. A rear-view camera and graphical parking assistance help provide added awareness when manoeuvring.

Practical touches include remote central locking, remote boot release, a split-fold second row, front and rear bottle holders, storage in the centre console and a full-size alloy spare wheel. The 50-litre fuel tank, 1,845kg listed gross vehicle mass and 2,640mm wheelbase give useful context to the vehicle's everyday packaging, while the 4,375mm length and 1,790mm width retain a manageable footprint.

Overall, this Corolla presents a balanced specification: an efficient petrol drivetrain, automatic operation, front-wheel drive, five-seat hatchback practicality and a broad suite of driver-assistance and safety systems. Its equipment profile is particularly focused on making routine travel easier, from the rear camera and parking aids to the flexible cabin and connected audio functions.
