The 2016 Hyundai Tucson Active X is a practical midsize wagon that combines a comfortably appointed cabin with the everyday versatility expected of a family-oriented SUV. Its front-wheel-drive layout and six-speed sports automatic transmission are suited to straightforward urban driving, while the 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine produces 122kW. With 50,831 kilometres recorded, this example presents as a relatively lightly used option within its model year.

Finished in Pepper Grey, the Tucson has a clean, contemporary exterior with alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, roof rails, body-coloured mirrors and door handles, and rear privacy glass. These details give it a purposeful appearance without compromising the practical character of the wagon body. The roof rails add useful flexibility for carrying appropriate external equipment, while the rear privacy glass contributes to a more enclosed passenger compartment.

Inside, the cabin is designed around comfort and adaptable space. Leather-appointed seats, dual-zone climate control and a multifunction steering wheel provide a more considered environment for longer trips, while the generous rear legroom helps make the second row useful for passengers. A 60/40 split-fold rear seat allows the cargo area to be reconfigured when carrying larger items, and the centre console provides convenient storage for everyday belongings.

The technology package is well matched to regular commuting and family use. A touchscreen infotainment system provides Bluetooth connectivity alongside USB and AUX inputs, while steering-wheel-mounted controls allow the driver to manage audio and phone functions with less distraction. A reversing camera, rear parking sensors, cruise control and a trip computer add useful assistance in tight spaces and on longer journeys.

Safety equipment includes six airbags, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, traction control, brake assist and hill-start assist. Downhill brake control is also specified, adding further support when managing descents. The vehicle is listed with a five-star ANCAP safety rating. Together, these systems provide a comprehensive set of active and passive safety measures for a vehicle intended to handle varied day-to-day driving.

The listing identifies combined fuel consumption of 7.9L/100km and a 62-litre fuel tank. It also quotes a 506kg payload capacity and a 1,400kg braked towing capacity, giving the Tucson useful carrying and towing capability within the limits of its specification.

Additional listing information records up-to-date service history, original logbooks and two keys. The vehicle is described as having been checked by trained technicians, and registration is listed through 23 March 2027. Overall, this Tucson Active X brings together a manageable footprint, useful cabin flexibility, familiar petrol power and a broad selection of comfort, technology and safety features.
