Vehicle Overview

2026 Hino FY - 700 Series 700 Series.

This new Hino FY 700 Series is configured as a substantial 8X4 tipper for demanding applications, combining a 30,000 kg GVM with a 42,500 kg GCM. Its 6,300 mm Gorski Engineering Hardox tipper body is built with 1,050 mm sides, 5 mm Hardox sheets and a 6 mm floor, giving the load area a robust specification for regular heavy-duty work.

Loading and unloading are supported by a four-stage telescopic hoist, tailgate spreader chains and Gorski premium pendant electric controls. An electric wind-out tarp helps secure the load, while pull-out access steps improve access around the body. The body is finished in hi-grade industrial two-pack paint and includes LED lighting, twin reverse spotlights and beacons.

Power comes from Hino's A09C-VN 8.866-litre intercooled turbo-diesel, producing 360 horsepower. The engine is paired with an Hino M112 12-speed automated manual transmission, operated through a dash-mounted rotary switch and sequential shifter. An exhaust brake and engine retarder assist with controlling the truck under load, while inter-axle and differential cross-locks provide additional traction capability when conditions become demanding.

The driveline is complemented by a 390-litre lockable alloy fuel tank and polished alloy wheels. These details suit a truck intended to spend long periods working with substantial payloads, while the automated manual transmission reduces the need for constant manual shifting during daily operation.

Safety equipment is a significant part of the specification. The truck includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, autonomous emergency braking and lane-departure warning, along with vehicle stability control. Driver-focused equipment includes an ISRI air-suspension seat, a driver's SRS airbag and a driver monitor designed to monitor behaviour and fatigue. LED main-beam headlamps with daytime running lamps improve visibility, while the reverse camera, reverse squawker and multiple kerb-view mirrors assist with manoeuvring.

Inside the cab, adaptive cruise control, automatic climate-control air conditioning and a 10.1-inch touchscreen multimedia unit with Apple CarPlay add convenience to extended working days. Electric heated main mirrors, convex spotter mirrors, an LHS kerb-view mirror and front kerb mirrors broaden the driver's view around the truck. Remote central locking, an engine immobiliser and an electro-hydraulic cabin tilt further support everyday usability and servicing access.
