Finished in Mineral White and showing 1,355 km, this demo vehicle combines the D-MAX platform's durable diesel powertrain with a BLADE-specific package of chassis, exterior and interior upgrades.

Power comes from a 3.0-litre four-cylinder 4JJ3-TCX turbo-intercooled diesel engine, paired with a six-speed sports automatic transmission and 4X4 dual-range drive. The drivetrain is supported by a rear differential lock, hill descent control, trailer sway control and a stated braked towing capacity of 3,500 kg. These features give the BLADE the hardware and control to handle demanding surfaces and towing duties, while the automatic transmission makes it easier to manage in traffic and on longer trips.

The BLADE's off-road preparation is more extensive than a cosmetic trim package. A 22 mm front and 25 mm rear lift, tuned front and rear dampers, lifted front spring seats and a rear lifting block are designed to improve clearance and support more challenging terrain. Underbody protection covers the sump, transfer case and leading edge of the fuel tank, while recovery hooks rated to 8,000 kg add useful equipment for trail work. The short front overhang also contributes to approach-angle clearance.

Visually, the ute has a black-themed treatment including black Isuzu badging, fender flares, tubular heavy-duty side steps, gloss-black handles and mirrors, an extended sports bar and BLADE decals. An integrated lightbar, red lower bumper guard and bash plate provide functional additions to the front end. The 17-inch gloss-black flow-formed alloy wheels are fitted with Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac RT 275/65 R17 tyres, with a full-size spare included.

Inside, the BLADE identity continues through embroidered headrests, branded carpet mats, scuff plates and a numbered vehicle plaque. Heated leather-accented front seats, dual-zone climate control and rear air vents help make the cabin more comfortable, while the eight-way electric driver's seat adds adjustment for longer drives. The 9-inch touchscreen includes satellite navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, with an eight-speaker roof-mounted audio system providing the entertainment system.

Safety and driver assistance equipment includes autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane keep assist, emergency lane keeping, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition and automatic high beam. Eight airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring and two ISOFIX-compatible anchor points add further protection and versatility for the five-seat cabin.
