This new Isuzu F Series FRR 110-240 AM R44 is configured as a purpose-built refrigerated truck, combining a medium-duty 4x2 chassis with an 8-pallet refrigerated body. Its specification is aimed at temperature-controlled transport where dependable loading access, usable internal volume and precise temperature management matter as much as the truck itself.

Power comes from Isuzu's 5.2-litre 4HK1-TCH four-cylinder turbo-diesel, producing 240 hp and 765 Nm of torque. That output is paired with an Isuzu MZW-6P six-speed automated manual transmission, giving the driver the convenience of automated gear changes while retaining a transmission designed for commercial operation. The 11,000 kg GVM and 18,500 kg GCM provide a clear framework for carrying substantial refrigerated loads, while the 5,160 mm wheelbase supports the body installation described for this vehicle.

The refrigerated body has approximately 27 cubic metres of capacity and is internally sized at 5,500 mm long by 2,500 mm wide and 2,100 mm high. Its 8-pallet layout is supported by a fully welded T6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium floor and an approximate body weight of 1,550 kg. Triple rear doors and a double side door offer flexibility when loading or unloading, particularly where access around a loading bay or delivery point is restricted. Stainless-steel hardware, thermally broken door frames and reinforced doors are intended to support regular commercial use.

Inside, the body includes two rows of stainless-steel cargo track with bars and holders, together with a fold-out two-tier step and grab straps positioned at the side and rear doors. The curtain system uses polar-grade PVC strip material with yellow-edged sections. Temperature control is provided by a Thermo King T-1000 R system with a stated rating of -18 degrees Celsius, making the truck suited to work that requires a consistently chilled or frozen cargo environment.

Safety equipment is extensive for a truck of this type. The specification includes advanced emergency braking with vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle detection, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control for the automated-manual model, traffic sign recognition and an intelligent speed limiter. Electronic stability control, traction control, anti-lock braking, intersection warning, front cross-traffic alert and traffic movement warning add further layers of driver assistance. An attention alert system, automatic lighting and adaptive driving beam are also included, while the cab incorporates driver and front-passenger airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners and side anti-intrusion beams to ECE-R29 requirements.

Everyday usability is supported by heated and power-adjusted mirrors, convex spot mirrors, central locking with remote entry, an immobiliser and an air-suspension ISRI driver's seat. The cab also features a 10.1-inch high-definition audio-visual unit with truck-tailored GPS, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, plus a USB 3.0 socket.
