The 2025 Isuzu F Series FVY 260-300 AT R67 is a new heavy-duty beavertail truck configured for plant, machinery and equipment transport. Its combination of a 26,000 kg GVM, 36,000 kg GCM and 6x4 axle layout gives the truck a substantial operating envelope, while the automatic driveline is suited to the stop-start demands commonly associated with loading, unloading and site work.

Power comes from Isuzu's 6.7-litre DB6A-TCC six-cylinder turbo-diesel, producing 300 hp and 981 Nm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed Allison 3000 Gen 6 automatic transmission, providing a straightforward control layout for commercial operation. The engine is specified to ADR 80/04 Euro VI standards and uses selective catalytic reduction and a diesel particulate diffuser. An engine compression brake is also fitted, adding useful speed-control assistance when operating a heavy vehicle.

The beavertail body has been built around practical loading access. It measures approximately 8,700 mm externally, with an approximately 7,300 mm internal deck and a deck height of around 1,130 mm. The heavy-duty configuration includes a 1,300 mm approach ramp and 2,800 mm by 900 mm loading ramps. Rear drop-down loading legs provide additional stability during loading, while air tensioners help retain the ramps securely during transit.

Durability is central to the body specification. The deck and ramps use 4 mm 450-grade steel, with flush side coamings creating a low-profile finish. Tie-down provision is extensive, with points integrated through the deck and coamings, including nine points on each side of the top deck, eight centrally located tray points and 14 stainless-steel tie-down surrounds. Provision for a winch and a lockable winch lid further broaden the truck's usefulness when moving machinery.

Storage has been integrated into the body rather than treated as an afterthought. Side-coaming toolboxes and an underbody lockable toolbox provide dedicated room for chains, straps and loading equipment. Side steps improve access to the deck, while the body is sandblasted, zinc primed and powder coated to help protect the fabricated structure in regular commercial use. A dedicated hydraulic power pack operates the body and ramps through raise, lower and float functions.

The cab includes air conditioning, an ISRI 6860/875 NTS2 air-suspension driver's seat, heated and powered exterior mirrors with additional convex spot mirrors, Bi-LED headlamps, LED foglamps and LED tail lamps. The My Isuzu Co-Pilot audio-visual unit and automatic windscreen wipers add everyday convenience. Safety equipment includes advanced emergency braking, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, electronic stability control, anti-lock braking, anti-skid regulation, traffic sign recognition and a customisable speed limiter.
