Omoda Jaecoo’s robotic division, AiMOGA Debuts latest tech at LEAP East Hong Kong
Vehicle Overview
AiMOGA Robotics used LEAP East Hong Kong to demonstrate how embodied artificial intelligence is moving beyond laboratory development and into practical service environments. The robotic division presented Mornine, a humanoid robot, alongside Argos, a quadruped robot, with demonstrations spanning conference services, public safety, cultural interaction and commercial spaces.
Mornine featured prominently at DeepFest, an AI forum focused on the transition from technological innovation to real-world deployment. During the opening session, the humanoid robot welcomed attendees in English, introduced the agenda and invited the event moderator to the stage. Its role illustrated how embodied AI can be applied to reception, event hosting and professional visitor services, where communication, interaction and reliable operation are central to the experience.
The demonstrations also highlighted multilingual interaction and agenda guidance. These capabilities are presented as part of a broader shift in robotics, with systems being assessed not only for technical performance but also for their ability to operate in genuine service scenarios. Reception areas, conference venues and public-facing spaces place different demands on robots than controlled research environments, making practical deployment an important measure of progress.
At the exhibition stand, Mornine demonstrated traditional Chinese calligraphy while interacting with visitors from different parts of the world. The display combined cultural engagement with a practical demonstration of dexterity and conversational interaction, helping show how humanoid robots may contribute to public-facing experiences. Argos took on guidance and visitor interaction duties, with its mobility and stability drawing attention from attendees.
Public safety was another focus of the presentation. An intelligent traffic police robot was shown in connection with inspection and urban governance applications, while Argos demonstrated how mobile robotic platforms could support guidance and spatial services. Together, the demonstrations covered a range of settings in which robots may assist people without being limited to a single repetitive task.
The event also provided an opportunity to develop international relationships. AiMOGA held discussions with universities, research institutions, technology companies, industry organisations, investors and distributors from Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other regions. The conversations centred on embodied intelligence, scenario-based applications, industrial cooperation and the expansion of regional technology ecosystems.
LEAP East was the first Asian edition of the technology event, bringing together government, industry, academia, investment institutions and technology companies. Its scale gave AiMOGA a platform to present its approach to an international audience and to discuss how robotics can progress from demonstrations toward broader commercial use.
AiMOGA states that its products have been deployed across more than 50 countries and regions, supporting applications in automotive retail, public services, commercial spaces and international events. The company’s scenario-driven approach places emphasis on refining technology through actual use, with each deployment providing an opportunity to test interaction, mobility and operational stability in a different environment.
