Omoda Jaecoo continues strong NEV sales in July

Omoda Jaecoo Australia’s July sales report highlights the growing contribution of electrified vehicles to the brand’s local results. New Energy Vehicles accounted for 74% of the marque’s deliveries during the month, despite July traditionally being a quieter period for the Australian new-car market.

The Jaecoo J5 EV was the strongest individual performer, with 1,262 examples registered during July. The result builds on more than 7,700 J5 deliveries since its introduction, including 7,192 electric variants, and reflects the increasing visibility of compact electric SUVs in the Australian market.

The report also places the brand’s broader Super Hybrid and electric range in context. More than 9,000 electrified vehicles were delivered across 2026, representing 82.5% of the brand’s total sales to that point. This mix demonstrates how strongly the company’s local line-up is now weighted towards battery-electric and plug-in hybrid models rather than conventional powertrains.

Omoda Jaecoo is continuing to extend that range with the next generation of its Super Hybrid products. Australian arrivals include the J5 SHS-H and the seven-seat J8 SHS-P, adding both a smaller hybrid SUV and a larger family-oriented model to the expanding electrified portfolio.
